Brevity #9: Self Fulfilled Prophecy

In a flash,
I was struck
by blindness.

With a blow,
I was hit
by numbness.

I saw the signs.
Silent whispers
fluttered to my ears.

And so it is,
you fulfilled
that expectation.

Or perhaps,
I've fulfilled
that prophecy.
